[Sunhelp] Video Cards on Solaris X86

Sunhelp,

I am running a pII 266 with an stb virge /gx video card, and am having a 
hard time with a weird color problem.

A short time after I log in to CDE, the text in certain parts of my 
x-windows apps freak out, and become unreadable.  Only the fonts are 
affected, not the images (jpegs, gifs...etc.).

This only seems to happen when I use the 16million color resolution, not 
if I run in 256 colors.  But then, everything looks crappy in 256 colors.

Anyone seen this before?
