For anyone with an A1000 system running Solaris 7 or earlier.
We spent a long time (days) trying to figure out why the damn things
wouldn't allow us to see or modify anything but the factory preconfigured
single 25GB LUN.
The answer was simple, make sure that the domain name that exists in
/etc/osa/mnf is NOT fully qualified and does NOT end in a '.' . So, if your
domain was foo.itg.net.uk then your entry should look like:
foo_003~1T91764812~ 0~~~0~3~~c1t0d0s0~~
NOT
foo.itg._003~1T91764812~ 0~~~0~3~~c1t0d0s0~~
Then do
/usr/sbin/reboot -- -r
which leads to endless problems, sleepless nights and much beard pulling
(so much so that now I am beardless ;()
This will fix >many< of your problems.

BTW, I think everyone for a bit should reccomend a good book or two, I'm
thinking about expanding my reading a bit .... so I have included ...
ObGeekBook: Diaspora - Greg Egan [SciFi/Computers]
