Short, but potentially interesting problem for all the networking guru's
I have two systems here, A and B. A has two NIC's both on the same VLAN (for
resiliancy), and
B is also on the same VLAN as A.
Currently host A is using the first NIC to talk to B but, to try and reduce the
load on the poor card, I'd
like to move traffic to B onto the other NIC.
Can I do this, (or am I talking/typing rubbish)?
Any idea how, I can't quite seem to figure out the correct magic route command
parameters? In an ideal
world I'd like to be able to route all traffic for the VLAN via one interface,
and all traffic for other VLANs
via the other one, but this is probably a bit on the ambitious side.
Oh, moving one of A's NICs to another VLAN isn't an option - unfortunately. :-(
Thanks.
Bob Cross.
