[Sunhelp] Problems compiling 8.2 on Sun

I have a machine running SunOS 4.1.3_UI (Yes I know it needs a desparate
upgrade. We're waiting on delivery of a new machine). I need to upgrade
to Bind 8.2. Currently running 4.9.?. The compile of 8.2 seemed to go
fine, but whenever I try to run anything (dig, nslookup, named), I get a
core dump. No error message except that the program is exiting with a
core dump. How do I determine what's going on here? A pointer to
documentation would help.
