[Sunhelp] dns problem

Not sure if this one was replied to yet....

    you need to edit the /etc/nsswitch.conf file.  If there is a line that
says:

hosts:      nisplus dns [NOTFOUND=return] files

change it to read:

hosts:     dns [NOTFOUND=return] files

This will cause the workstation to search DNS first for a hostname and then
search it's local /etc/hosts file.
