[Sunhelp] dns problem

hi,all:

Recently, my Sun workstation works unproperly.

it always takes a long time to obtain the destination IP

from the domain name by my WS. for example:

when I ping www.yahoo.com, after a long period, the system

get response "xxx is alive",  but when I ping IP address directly

I can get the result in no time.

I am sure our dns server is no problem,

cause other Workstation in the same segment has no such problem.

I think it is a software problem.

Can you all give me some directions?
