Good one this.

I've installed Solaris 2.6 Server HW3/98 and can't get answerbook2 working 
properly. It fails to
start on boot, so I use '/etc/init.d/ab2mgr start' to manually start it - which 
also fails with no error
message.

If I take a copy of the ab2mgr script and change the line that starts 'su 
daemon -c '....' to
su to root instead, and then try the script - it works.

Anyone out there got an suggestions what's gone wrong. It's obviously a 
protections problem, but
where, and why no error message?
