[Sunhelp] Blinking Echo on console

HI, 
I want to blink something on Console ? Do you know how ?
I used  "ESC [5m" for blinking.
While being root, I tried to execute the command below on command prompt and
also using script file.

 echo "\\033[5m \nhello\n \\033[m" > /dev/console

I got error " scrpt1: \033[5m \nHello\n \033[m: not found "
and out put of 
#echo $? 
is 127

BTW How do you people find the explanation corresponds to error number. eg
for error # 127 ?
