[Sunhelp] How to install gzip,gcc,.... in my Intel Solaris7 Box

Err, no?

First of all, how do you plan to do a 'tar -xvzf' without GNU tar and gzip
installed? They don't come with Solaris.

Secondly, the vast majority of those files aren't .tar files, they're
Solaris package files.

The answer to his question, at least for the stuff he downloaded from
sunfreeware.com, is to follow the instructions. He can find them by going
back to sunfreeware.com and selecting the link in the left frame that says
"Downloading/Installation". And even if he didn't get the packages from
there, it'll still tell him how to install them.
