Well, it depends on what you're actually after:

If you're after 2-4 people communicating, using something like 'ytalk' (URL 
doesn't come to mind, though if you search for it on freshmeat.net you
can't go wrong) works well, however it's not really M$ Windows enabled. 

Urmm .. other than that .. winpopups ? ;p
