Hello all,

How can I determine if I have my system -- 735 Workstation, HP-UX 9.05 =
--
configured properly to use the CD-ROM drive -- HP -1999A -- that is
attached to it? Also, what command can I execute to read the contents
of a CD that is in the CD-ROM drive?

I've executed the 'ioscan -f' command, and I get the following listing:

audio 2.0.8 audio ok(0x707f) ok

I've read the man page on 'ioscan', but I couldn't get enough
from it to determine whether the output from the 'ioscan'=20
command is making reference to a CD-ROM drive.

Thanks again to everyone who takes the time to read and=20
respond to my question.
