I used the video card from the u20 as well as the u20 14" screen on a u40 motherboard.

The u20 ATI video card has a second small motherboard connector near the back, by the 13W3 rear connector.  

There are also two lcd connectors (black) and one power/backlight connector (white).  Use the black lcd connector facing the white connector.

Make sure you don't plug a 14" u20 display into a u40 display card.  They aren't compatible and the power switch mosfet will fry.
