[SPARCbook] repair laptop hd connector ?

I've "ripped" the flexi-film connector strip on a hard
disk caddy tray for a UltraBook IIe.

Anybody have any tricks how to repair?

My hand isn't as "steady" as it used to be doing fine
detail small solder work <grin> with tiny wires ... 

As an alternative - does anybody on list do this sort
of thing (minature small size solder repair /
modifications) - I'd pay somebody for a good repair!
