Disks aren't going to be easy to find. Well, they are, if you have a tray
for them, and the ADTX IDE-SCSI bridge - if you do, you can use most any
2.5" notebook IDE disk.
If it works for you, you can also go with an external SCSI-2 (narrow)
drive which will work just fine, but you lose mobility - not that it
matters much since these machines don't usually get more than 45 mins on
battery power.
Solaris 2.6 is correct, though you need special Tadpole drivers to make
the display, power management, ISDN, built in modem, etc. work with
Solaris.
Solaris 7 will also run, but good luck finding the Tadpole packages for
it. They were selling that in 1997 for $400. :)
There was talk of various linux distros working too... You might want to
check the archives...
