My first SPARC was a ss1, 32mb RAM, dual 200meg HDs, with a couple of other
sub-1G HDs slapped on externally, with a dual-slot CG6, an old Hitachi 19"
color....
I ran X, Netscape, AfterStep, had 4 other shell users on it.. and this was
with only 32meg RAM. 8-) I didnt care, I had a *SPARC*, while everyone else
was playing with their 486s and pentium 75s.
I kept that machine until 1997 or so. I'd paid $700 for it in '95. *sigh*.
My first Sun was a 3/50 running 4.1.1.
