[SPARCbook] dumb case question

Ive used plumbers solder to repair the magnesium lid to the controls on my
bass amp, and it hasn't broken in four months of frequent use, But i'd wager
five ton clear epoxy worked into the crack would would work best, but it would
be ugly.
