Yeah, Solaris is actually smart about asking for the password to root
rather than just letting you in.  Booting into single user mode under *BSD
gets you a root shell instantly without a password check. :)

Alternatively, if your sparcbook is just for yourself and you haven't yet
fully patched it for security, as long as you've got a shell account and a
compiler, you can troll rootshell.org or whatever and get in using an
exploit. :)
