[SPARCbook] Re: Upgrade 640x480 screen?

Hi,

I don't actually own a SPARCbook 3 yet. A dealer in the UK has an 85MHz
one, but has yet to say if it's a XP or GS model. The price (~850 pounds)
and extras (3x discs, 2x batteries) sounds attractive, but perhaps only
if it's a GS. My idea was to get it anyway and then buy a cheap PC
laptop with a 10.4" 800x600 screen (looking for the same LCD as in the
SPARCbook) to upgrade XP->GS. 640x480 doesn't sound particularly usable.

I had assumed that the cases were identical, with the aperture in the lid
being masked for a 9.4" screen. Oh well....

Until I know if the SB3 I've been offered is an XP or GS, I don't even
know if I need to do this.

There again, if I could find a 1024x768 10.4" LCD.....!
