The problem is "SunOS Release 4.1.3". I don't believe there are any patches
for this rev of OS to make it Y2K aware.

My 3GX is running swimmingly with 2.6. You'll probably have to upgrade OS to
get Y2K functionality.

How can I get my SunOS Release 4.1.3 (SPARCBOOK_A.2.3) to respond to date in
the following format so I can enter the year 2000?

date [[mmdd]hhmm[[cc]yy][.ss]]

All I've been able to do so far is get to the year 1999...

# /usr/5bin/date 0831112700
Wed Dec 31 18:59:59 EST 1969
# /usr/5bin/date 0831112899
Tue Aug 31 11:28:00 EDT 1999
