hey,

given the lexmark origin of those keyboards you can also just steal the
caps from thinkpads or try to source them from an IBM retailer.

I had a discussion on another mailing list for laptops (openbsd laptops :)
a few months ago about these. In the IBM-centric environments I've worked
in up to now they were called cattoungues. This because of the rough
texture on the red thinkpad trackpointer (i think that what IBM calls
'em). Someone else said everyone where they worked called them nipples.

After getting my 3gs I replaced the slightly crusty cap with an extra
thinkpad one I had. Fits perfectly. I've bought two thinkpads and been
around hundreds in various places. All of them came with extra pointer
caps. Look around for a thinkpad box. They usually remain abandoned in
there when someone unpacks a new one.
