3)	Tech Tip of the Month

Voyager2i PS/2 Keyboard Problems ?

Problem:
Sun has recently released a new version of its Solaris 2.6 (Rev 16) Kernel Jumbo patch. When added and a system reboot performed, the functionality of the PS/2 keyboard is lost.

Solution:

If installing the recommended patch cluster on an operational system, reinstall the TADps2 package from the TadpoleRDI Support CD immediately after installing the Sun patch cluster.
If installing from the Solaris O/S from scratch do so in the following order:
Install Solaris 2.6 from the Sun CD.
Install the recommended patch cluster.
Install the TadpoleRDI extensions from the TadpoleRDI Support CD.
Re-boot.
