The 540-1062 is an ECL monitor, and the multibus bwtwo may be ECL or TTL
depending on model (the 501-1003 is TTL only; the 501-1052 "prime" board can
be jumped for either TTL or ECL with the default setting being TTL). The TTL
monitor is quite a bit less common, so I don't expect this is the issue, but
it should be eliminated as a possibility rather than assumed eliminated. What
is the model number of the monitor that works?
