Back in the 90's when I was admining a DG Aviion Unix box with X-Terms,
my usual comment was that VI exists to edit the Emacs makefile.

I always had at least one emacs process running.

Of course these days I always have DOSBOX installed so I can run my
copy of Wordstar 7... :D
