The Sun hardware was superior. But the software and user experience was 
not the same.

Correction: SE/30 is 512 x 342. If you wanted a megapixel screen, you 
could have one; I did a bunch of digging into the price of 
contemporaneous megapixel displays for Macs, a few months ago.

I found a price from Jan 2, 1989: Sigma Laserview for SE, 1664x1200, 
presumably including the interface card: $2295

A price Feb 16, 1987: Megascreen Plus, 1024x900 $2495
