  Yes, and the whole point behind NTP is PEERING.  Bidirectional
information.  Peering for redundancy, and providing something back to
the network.  These kids with systemd are of the "what can I GET GET GET
from the Internet" mentality.

  I run ntpd on my Suns. (obOnTopic)
