I remember the actual capabilities of the AS/400 were amazing at the time to
my young brain.

I also remember someone had a very large U-Haul truck full of complete AS/400
systems they were trying to sell for $50/each at a Trenton Computer Fest...
not sure of the year, but I distinctly remember it was at the Raritan
Convention Center, 20+ years ago?

Of course it was a 'cash and carry' deal, and the sellers quickly tired of
answering 'no, it won't run linux'...
