Hi Peter
While I probably will not be able to keep the 6800s, I may be able to
provide (at least temporary) shelter to most - if not all - of the stuff
at my mother's house - which happens to be reasonably close to
Duesseldorf (an ~1h drive). But I'd need some help to load/unload that
stuff and get it into the basement.
Looking at the quite impressive list, a little planning ahead would be
needed to rent a U-Haul-type truck with an elevator platform...
In any case, I'm surely interested in a 880 and/or a 480 to complement
the small assortment of Sun Server-type machines in my collection... And
before it goes to the dumpster, I'd also take the StorEdge stuff, i.e.
the L1000s and the disk arrays...
Anyone else from Germany interested in stuff from Peter's list? If it
fits in a VW Touran, I can provide relaying to the Frankfurt/Main area...
I'm frequently (i.e. 3 - 4 times each month) commuting to Bochum
Regards
Marc
