[rescue] A wee bit off-topic

Dell, the brand I'm most familiar with, has consumer and business lines of
computers (desktop and laptop). The business line of desktops and laptops are
considered 'stable' over their life - internal components don't evolve/change.
For example, a Dell Optiplex 755 always has the same chipset, serial
controllers, etc. Consumer hardware may evolve/change over the life of the
specific model.

I imagine other OEMs have similar business/consumer lines.
