There's bound to be some ridiculous ricer gaming card that can soak up the
remaining $2k in one fell swoop. A nice RAID10 array of SSDs would be a better
way to burn money, though.

However, the E5 is designed for multiprocessor environments which requires a
load of extra logic for bus co-ordination, so they max out at a lower clock
speed. The Xeon E3-1280V5, at a more modest $612 in quantity, so I'd expect it
to perform noticably better at this benchmark than the E5.
