Or, back toward the population of this list, the "DB-9" connector.  It's 
a DE-9.  DE-9P (plug) or DE-9S (socket).  They go: DA-15 (Ethernet MAU), 
DB-25 (RS-232, etc.), DC-37, DD-50 (SCSI, on Sun-3 equipment), DE-9. 
Really.

Most people hardly even see the DE-9 much any more, what with USB, but 
this list is not "most people". :-)
