Don't depress the man, you guys! As Earl wrote, "I never say goodbye, to me
it's so long, see you later!"

   Most of us have been through this journey with a friend or family member,
and good cheer and (sometimes very dark) humor are great aids to one's spirit.
So I invite everyone to raise a glass tonight at 8:00PM Seattle time in toast
of appreciation to a great guy who is still a valued member of the list.

   Shel, your name is all over the archives. Asking Google for "Shel Hall
site:sunhelp.org" gives me about 2,850 results -- and I bet there are even
more that were sent off-list. No one bats 1.000, but your posts have always
been useful, informative, and friendly. So keep 'em coming: they say "disk is
cheap" and Bill has plenty of storage for you to fill up.
