Attractive features are (IMHO):

PCI card expansion
Form factors (not 100# of steel like a U30/U60, for example)
Ability to use PC monitor w/o adapter for base graphics
Vertical UPA graphics
Ability to use cheap IDE drives, optical drives...

But, not really barn-burners by any stretch of the imagination.
