My experience is that it falls flat on its face for that, because it
insists on keeping at most one repo per directory. I find RCS better
for the task, because it keeps one repo per file, which is much closer
to what I want for /etc (or files like .cshrc and .forward in ~).
Is there an option I've missed or some such?
