it must be 7 as software am using was designed for 7 x86 :(

Solaris 8 doesn't run well in a VM. It has an unorthodox idle loop that
drives the host CPU to 100%. Driver support won't be very nice, either.
Solaris x86 used to be *very picky* about hardware back in the day.
If you can't find hardware from the Solaris 7 HCL, your best bet might
be to get Solaris 8 to run in a branded zone/container on modern Solaris
with the migration tool.
