Yeah, I'm looking thoughtfully at that myself.  It only needs one
difficult desoldering job on an expensive-to-replace component to make a
tool like that worthwhile.  Like when I had to replace all of the power
regulation caps on the motherboard of the previous iteration of my
workstation, because while I could probably have spared the money to
replace the motherboard, I could NOT afford a new motherboard *AND* a
new CPU and cooler *AND* all new RAM *AND* a new graphics card *AND* a
new power supply.  And I'd have had to replace all of those as well if I
bought a new motherboard.

I did manage to get all the old caps off, but it wasn't at all easy, and
took two people to get enough hands on the job to do it without a
continuous-suction desoldering tool.
