That sounds pretty scary, I wouldn't want to be working with that kind
of amps and jury rig anything. 

Almost all homes in the US actually are fed by 240V power, single
phase.  They center tap the transformer output to bring out 120V
branch circuits, but they typically bring 240V out to electric dryers,
electric water heaters & electric ranges. yes, there are some 120V homes,
but not many. 

I'd recommend bringing in an electrician. But at 1600W top load rating,
this server needs its own dedicated power feed, which is most likely
why they made it 208V (datacenter), or 240V input. 

An electrican could bring it out to a NEMA L6-30 receptical to get a
datacenter type PDU outlet strip with the IEC C19 outlets that are
typically used for this server plugin. 

Besides the power drain, the fan noise is going to be killer in a house. 
Just some things to think of.
