I remember the same red mice being used on later AT&T windowing terminals.  We
can't see it from the photo, but is the mouse round on front and back with the
sides squared off, and three square buttons that look like total
afterthoughts? b:

Anyway, I remember the terminals were white, and I never saw a mouse that
wasn't red, so I don't think AT&T had any kind of colorscheme going on at the
time.  Very nice to save space on the desk or lab bench, you could open a
window to local serial ports or to StarLan connections, IIRC.  I remember
white CRT phosphors as well, so maybe this was a 730 or 730+?  Too many years,
too many braincells lost.

Boy, now that I think of it, I sure wish I could find one of those terminals
againb&
