      To the original poster, if you want to do the power supply
adventures on the V210, do go for it. In fact, I do have a V210 at
home (was going to replace the U60) and have wanted to move it to a PC
case so I could make it quieter. And I was stuck at the same place you
are. So, let me know if I can help. I am willing to tear down my
machine if it helps.
