When I bought my Crays they told me they paid $8 million for the 4 
systems. When I worked at NASA the receipt for the Origin 3800 96 
proc 64gb with 7.2tb of disk was over $3 million for that system. I 
wouldn't be surprised if the Sun E10K price is higher than a Cray? (Funny 
thing is, they share some heritage and the same power supplies.)
