The keybaord connector on peecees before the PS/2 connector was a
DIN-5, so...

...probably, would be my guess.

I'd also guess that the "serial" is not ordinary serial but rather is
intended for a mouse.  In past years, many mice used DE-9 connectors.
(Some of them actually ran serial data over it, like a mutant serial
port; some didn't - I'm fairly sure I have at least one mouse with a
DE-9 connector that puts direct quadrature data on some of the pins.)
