[rescue] Testing the waters

I would be...except that I'm short enough on physical space that it's
probably not worth getting them to me, especially since I'm not sure I
have all the other bits I'd need to use them (such as a FC host card).

Unless someone is heading up from New England (see below) to Montreal
and/or Ottawa, which strikes me as unlikely but not impossible.

If this is their (approximate) location as well as yours, which seems
reasonably likely, it appears to mean New England.  Right?
