I think that I replied to my own message.  Ah well..

Here are a list of video modes that the Ultra-10 outputs (from the
service manual):

1920 x 1200 @ 70 Hz
1600 x 1000 @ 66 or 76 Hz
1400 x 900 @ 76 Hz
1280 x 1024 @ 66 or 76 Hz
1280 x 800 @ 76 Hz
1152 x 900 @ 66 or 76 Hz
960 x 680 @ 112 Hz

Those look like typical SUN video modes.  I have a big old Sony monitor
that does 1152 x 900 @ 66 Hz, and nothing else (still works, but the
video card packed up).
