Indeed, it will not. But, when you get an SM81-2, for free, in 1999,
ou don't complain about unused cache memory. <wink>

SM 81-2s are much more prevalent than SM81s with 1MB of cache as well, and
there's no harm in using them - chances are you didn't pay more for the extra
megabyte anyway. Once you've maxed it out that will make a nice NeXTSTEP
station (one of the plusses for the SuperSPARC over HyperSPARC).
