That's a lot of power. I don't believe my quads with the 1.062GHz CPUs draw anywhere near that. They have dual 860W PSUs but can run on one. I don't have a wattmeter to check. 

The 440 is loud, but it's more tolerable than a 210 because the fans are bigger and less shrill.

I seem to remember them drawing around 1100 watts under normal load with 
1 480mhz cpu. I am sure the 440 are louder.  I don't remember the 450's 
being particularly loud. It's been awhile though. My last one got sent 
to the scrappers because I couldn't even find anyone to rescue it.
