Just got a call from my ISP.

They had a management change (well, investors who control the majority of
the company now) a few months ago.  Part of that involved going through and
auditing accounts.

Mine came up, since it was marked as "complimentary".  I was their head
sysadmin in 1999-2000, and left my system coloed there after I left.  In
exchange for occasional Solaris consulting and sending them business, I got
colo and bandwidth as long as it wasn't extreme.

Now they want me to start paying full price.  Looks like it's going to be
$158/month, for 1U of rack space and 1megabit sustained bandwidth.

I've got until the end of November to figure out what I'm going to do.  Ads
on SunHELP bring in approximately $30/month, but that only gets paid out
every 3-4 months.
