Haha I keep forgetting which people on list are local to me.

Yeah I knew MGRAS refered to the IMPACT- generation gfx, and when I saw the
badging I remembered the full codename.

The prototype GFX get really hot, but beyond that I haven't investigated
much.

There's no tram in it, it's a solid IMPACT.

Finally (mostly) figured out the Mac IIfx issues. No new hardware was
needed...

Yes, that's the one. I saw it there and wondered at it briefly. "Mardi
Gras" is the SGI codename for IMPACT graphics (thus, "MGRAS" in the
gfxinfo output). I thought about grabbing it... but didn't. Glad
somebody who can appreciate it ended up with it.
