Again, but perhaps I'm completely missing the point here (which is 
totally possible :-) ) - even if I was streaming to the compressed tape 
device at 2:1 (~80MB/s) it should work fine.
I fail to see where the issue is with iSCSI (or NFS for that 
matter)...unless the bottleneck is reading from disk.
