Sure - but if we are talking about Ultra 320 scsi, thats 320 MB/s or 
2560Mb/s, not 320Mbps. Of course, 320MB/s is theoretical.... - so I'd

You can certainly saturate (or near saturate) Gig-E with that!.

Why - just  this afternoon, I was about 100MB/s (Megabytes) sustained 
from my Opensolaris box on a 4 disk raidz pool, over NFS to my VMWare 
ESXi box with gigabit ethernet (in an 802.1q trunk even....)
