And that's just it, and kinda how I feel too.

I needed a modest entry level NAS solution for a departmental solution 
at the office to support some VMWare and Unix NFS storage.
I was looking at the 2'nd  gen thumper boxen with a cache controller 
(SSD for ZFS log journal).  That could have provided 25T of decent storage.

Seems like Larry doesn't want to sell AMD's anymore.  While I could 
probably buy someone's "stock" to still get one,  however - I don't 
really want to be on the trailing edge of support for this thing with 
Oracle.

I might need to give the money to NetApp instead....

Unless someone hits Larry with a cluestick - my days of buying Sun are 
just about done!
