$150 gets you the Beagle Board; it's a fast little ARM machine with
on-board video, 128 MB of RAM, and a multitude of I/O options (rs232,
i2c, JTAG, s-video, DVI, audio in and out). I haven't had a lot of
time to play with the one I picked up but hopefully soon...
The biggest downside is that it doesn't have on-board ethernet.
However, USB ethernet adapters are a dime a dozen and pretty
well-supported these days as I understand it.
